In this talk, David will be looking at the role of the unpaid carer in todays society and integral role they place in the lives of many people. David will look at the role of the unpaid carer, statistics about unpaid carers in the UK and Surrey, the work Crossroads Care Surrey do to support these carers and their employer’s charter to support employers employing unpaid carers.

Crossroads Care Surrey are a registered charity providing services to unpaid carers in Surrey They put the unpaid carer at the heart of everything they do and provide precious respite breaks for those caring for the young, disabled, unwell and frail. Their services also include end of life care, outreach support services and local care clubs for adults.


About this event

The Chamber’s monthly Breakfasts are very popular, so do book early. Business people from the Mole Valley district and the surrounding areas come together to meet, eat and network in the third week of each month.
