Introduce a business, earn a discount
Know a business that would benefit from being part of Mole Valley Chamber? Introduce them, and you could earn a discount on your own membership renewal.
Our chamber referral scheme is our way of thanking members who help grow the Chamber. There’s no limit to how many businesses you can introduce, and the more you refer, the more you save.
How the chamber referral scheme works
When you introduce a new business and they take out a full year’s membership, you’ll receive a discount on your next annual renewal. The discount is applied once the referred business has paid for a full year, so after any pro-rata period has ended.
There’s no cap on how many businesses you can introduce. Discounts accumulate with every successful referral, up to a maximum of 100 per cent off your next renewal fee. This maximum cannot be carried over into future years.
If you’re already on a discounted rate, or enjoying a free year from a previous referral, you can still take part. Discounts are applied against your following year’s membership, so your savings keep building towards that 100 per cent cap.
Referral scheme discount rates
Discounts are based on the value of the new membership introduced, so they’re proportionate across all our membership tiers.

Referral scheme conditions
The referred business must not have held Chamber membership within the previous 24 months.
Discounts are only applied once the referred business has completed a full year’s paid membership.
The maximum discount available is 100 per cent off your next renewal. Any amount beyond this cannot be carried forward.
A worked example
A medium sized business that introduces two small businesses and one medium sized business would earn two lots of £33 plus £82.50, a total of £148.50 credited towards their next renewal.
The same applies regardless of your own membership tier. A small business making the same three introductions earns the same £148.50 discount. If this exceeds the small business renewal fee, membership becomes free for that year.
How to refer a business
Simply get in touch with the Chamber team with the name of the business you’d like to introduce. Once their membership is confirmed and paid, we’ll track the referral and apply your discount automatically at your next renewal.
