We’re delighted to announce that our next business breakfast networking event will be a little out of the ordinary, as we decamp to the rather splendid Fetcham Park House in Leatherhead for a special one-off gathering. While our regular monthly meet-ups happily call Dorking home, this change of scenery gives us the perfect excuse to add a touch of grandeur to your morning coffee and conversations. Expect the same friendly, high-quality networking you know and value, paired with an inspiring historic setting that’s guaranteed to spark fresh ideas and new connections.

Our guest speaker this month is Helen Maguire, MP for Epsom and Ewell, Ashtead and Leatherhead.
This month we are delighted to welcome Helen, who will address the collaboration between local business networking groups and the MP’s office, focusing on how to ensure that their concerns are effectively heard at the parliamentary level. They will discuss the most effective methods for business networks to communicate their challenges and opportunities to the MP.
Additionally, we will hear about plans to engage with local business groups and which formats, such as forums, workshops, or roundtables, are considered most effective for these interactions.
The role of business networking groups in supporting the MP’s initiatives and priorities for the constituency will be explored, along with specific business groups or industry sectors.
Furthermore, the Helen will explain the her vision for facilitating business community events or initiatives that aim to promote local economic development.
Finally, Helen will touch on how local business leaders can assist the MP in better understanding the economic landscape and business needs of the constituency.

The Chamber’s monthly Networking Breakfasts are very popular, so do book early. Business people from the Mole Valley district and the surrounding areas come together to meet, eat and network in the third week of each month.
There is a wide range of people who attend from all sectors and all sizes. From sole traders and start-ups, to some of the biggest businesses in the district.
Each month there is a guest speaker, who talk about their own experiences of running a business and their own personal journey or give an insight into their particular skills and sector.
What you can expect:
- Enjoy an excellent breakfast with like-minded people.
- Make new connections through our informal networking.
- Get an introduction if there’s someone you’d like to meet.
- Find new local customers and suppliers.
If it is your first breakfast or you haven’t attended in a while the Chamber Directors are always on hand to make introductions.
