Chamber Business Networking Breakfast

Join us for Mole Valley Chamber’s Networking Breakfast

We are delighted to invite you to Mole Valley Chamber’s monthly networking breakfast. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local businesses, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and gain valuable insights from our inspiring guest speaker.

Speaker: Sam Ghai, The London Bee Company

Sam Ghai, founder of The London Bee Company, brings a wealth of experience from years spent nurturing hives across London, including at iconic locations such as the BBC Television Centre. Sam’s award-winning enterprise is dedicated to producing raw British honey and promoting the vital role of bees in our urban landscape.

In his talk, Sam will unravel the fascinating world of bees—their life cycle, the intricate structure of a colony, and the distinct roles played by queens, workers, and drones. You’ll discover how each bee, despite a short lifespan, contributes to the hive’s survival through teamwork and adaptability, much like the departments within a successful business. Just as every employee in a company has a unique role, every bee—from the forager to the nurse—plays a part in achieving the colony’s collective goal.

Sam will draw a compelling analogy between bee colonies and business. A hive thrives on clear roles, purposeful collaboration, and effective communication—mirroring the structure of high-performing organisations. The queen bee, akin to a CEO, sets the direction, while worker bees operate like specialised teams, each focused on their tasks yet united by a shared mission. The bees’ famous ‘waggle dance’ is a model for meaningful, targeted communication—ensuring vital information reaches only those who need it, just as efficient businesses do.

Sam will also share insights into the hives managed by The London Bee Company at various sites, highlighting how these urban colonies boost local biodiversity and serve as living examples of environmental stewardship.

Finally, Sam will offer practical tips for supporting bees in your own life—whether by planting nectar-rich flowers, letting wild spaces flourish, or avoiding harmful pesticides. Even small actions can make a big difference in sustaining these indispensable pollinators.

Join Sam Ghai to discover how bees can inspire us to build stronger communities and more resilient businesses—where every individual’s contribution counts, and collective success is the ultimate goal.

Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out!

We look forward to welcoming you for an engaging morning of networking, learning, and community spirit.
