Being a Disabled Confident Employer

Our speaker will be Heike Jord Knip from VA Creative Media who will be talking about Being a Disabled-Confident Employer. Heike will explain his approach and reasons to recruiting from the disabled community and why being a social enterprise is important part of this.

About the speaker

My name is Heike, I am the founder and SEO specialist at VA Creative Media which is a creative agency with a focus on SEO, Web Design and Branding.

Originally, I am from the Netherlands but live already since 2017 here in the UK, I am a father of two girls called Valentina & Aaliyah – and I am keen supporter of the disabled community due to my youngest having a rare genetic disorder. Which is why my company is a Social Enterprise, and we have a strong social mission to support this community as company and employer.
