Mental health and resilience

Our speaker will be Åse Greenacre from MRT Consultants who will be talking about the mental health and resilience in the home and work environment.

Awareness around mental health is vital for all of us. This is the basis of how we cope with what life throws at us. We no longer separate home life and work. The lines are blurred and connected which means employers as well and employees need to take notice and understand the impact mental health has on them both privately and professionally. We all benefit from self-awareness of which coping skills we use, why need them and how the impact of the various hormones affect us.

About the speaker

Åse Greenacre from MRT ConsultantsPronounced (aw-se) A Swedish born certified Personal Performance Coach, Parenting coach and qualified Counsellor. She has lived in Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. With a varied professional background such as banking, health insurance, running a giftware company and relocation, she eventually studied to become a counsellor and worked in the NHS and private practise. A few years later she added performance coaching and parenting coaching to her skills.

Having gained a lot of life experience along the way she developed a particular interest in helping families get and maintain a nurturing, stable and content atmosphere at home. In addition, rising mental health concerns and focus on wellbeing has led her to becoming active in this arena. So many stress factors in society can affect people in a detrimental way – but these can be helped and possibly prevented if you know how to deal with it. Åse has 2 adult children and a husband. She can work with people in English, Swedish, German or Swiss-German.
