She will share tips to help people overcome their fear and improve their delivery and content and to take the opportunities to promote their businesses in this way whenever possible.  She will also share the cause of the profound silence and how this has developed into her speaking and training people to feel heard and listen actively which will contribute to them having improved relationships at home and at work, increase their productivity and revenue.

Louise Camby Professional Speaker

Speaker Biography

I was born with a deep voice and have been known for it all my life. My voice has gradually featured more and more within my work and businesses.  I have been a voice over artist recording my voice for videos, presentations etc since 2006.  I have been presenting within my work since 2001 however at school I hated it so I completely understand the fear that many people feel about it. Throughout my work I have learnt the skill of public speaking and overcome the fear of doing it. This has resulted in so many opportunities that otherwise wouldn’t have happened.

Since 2016 I have been a professional speaker sharing a variety of talks on entertaining subjects across South East England to various social groups and Residential homes. One of the talks is based on the life, work and music of my grandfather Johnny Douglas most noted for composing the music to the 1970 film The Railway Children.

In 2021 I joined the Professional Speaking Association and now speak at business events and to larger organisations about the importance of us all feeling heard and listening. This comes from a period of profound enforced silence that I experience in 2018. It gives me great pleasure to be able to help others ensure their voice is heard whether in 1:1 conversations or on a stage to a wider audience.  I can work with individuals on a 1:1 basis or in workshop and learning lunch environments should anyone be interested.

There is plenty of parking available at the pub.
