MOLE VALLEY CHAMBER MEMBERS ONLY EVENT

Mole Valley Chamber AGM 2026: your voice, your Chamber

Every business we support has a stake in how Mole Valley Chamber is run, and our Annual General Meeting is where that comes to life. As a member of Surrey Chambers of Commerce, we hold ourselves to the same standards of accountability and transparency that our fellow chambers across the county do. This year’s Mole Valley Chamber AGM takes place online on Tuesday 17 November 2026, from 5.30pm to 7pm, and every member is warmly invited to attend.

What’s happening

The AGM is our chance to look back at the year, look ahead to the next, and make sure members have a direct say in the Chamber’s direction. Chaired by Chamber President, Richard Excell, the meeting will cover:

  • Welcome and apologies
  • Approval of previous AGM minutes
  • Chair’s report
  • Treasurer’s report
  • Election of officers and committee members
  • Appointment of auditors or independent examiner
  • Proposed amendments to the constitution, if any
  • Membership matters and plans for the year ahead
  • Any other business / Questions
  • Closing remarks

It’s a relatively brief agenda by design. We keep the formal business focused so there’s time left for genuine discussion.

Why it matters to local businesses

Mole Valley Chamber exists exists because local businesses back it, and the AGM is where that support translates into real influence. As with any well-run membership organisation, our AGM gives every member the chance to review the year, ask questions, and have a say in what happens next. Whether it’s the Chair’s report on the past year, the election of officers, or a chance to raise something under any other business, this is your opportunity to help steer the organisation that represents Surrey’s business community.

How to get involved

Attendance is open to members only, and there’s no cut-off date for submitting questions in advance, so if there’s something on your mind, whether that’s about the Treasurer’s report, membership plans, or the year ahead, do get in touch and we’ll make sure it’s covered on the night.

The meeting is held entirely online via Zoom, so wherever you’re based across Mole Valley, joining is straightforward. Joining details will be sent to members closer to the date.

A chance to shape what comes next

Chamber AGMs aren’t always the most talked-about item in the events calendar, but they’re arguably one of the most important. This is where the election of officers and committee members happens, where the constitution can be reviewed, and where the plans for the year ahead take shape. If Surrey business networking and a thriving Mole Valley business community matter to you, an hour and a half of your time on 17 November goes a long way.

We look forward to seeing as many members as possible there.

Book your place now to join the Mole Valley Chamber AGM 2026 and have your say in the year ahead.
