We are delighted to invite you to Mole Valley Chamber’s monthly networking breakfast, taking place Wednesday, 21st May 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local businesses, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and gain valuable insights from our inspiring guest speaker.
This month, we are thrilled to welcome Shira Moberg from Matrix the as our guest speaker.
Shira Moberg will be sharing insights into the vital work of Matrix, a local charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people across Guildford Borough. Matrix operates both in schools and the wider community, building long-term relationships and providing a lifeline through activities designed to nurture, inspire, connect, and empower young people. By listening to young people, valuing their voices, and offering safe spaces—such as youth cafés and school drop-ins—Matrix helps them develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. The charity’s team of trained youth workers provides ongoing support, from one-to-one sessions to group workshops, and is committed to early intervention, ensuring no young person is left socially excluded or unsupported during difficult times. As a founding partner of the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership and a service provider within Mindworks Surrey, Matrix collaborates with other organisations to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health, enabling young people to live full, confident lives.
This year marks Matrix’s 25th anniversary—a testament to its long-standing commitment to empowering the next generation and catalysing positive change in their lives.

The Chamber’s monthly Networking Breakfasts are very popular, so do book early. Business people from the Mole Valley district and the surrounding areas come together to meet, eat and network in the third week of each month.
There is a wide range of people who attend from all sectors and all sizes. From sole traders and start-ups, to some of the biggest businesses in the district.
Each month there is a guest speaker, who talk about their own experiences of running a business and their own personal journey or give an insight into their particular skills and sector.
What you can expect:
- Enjoy an excellent breakfast with like-minded people.
- Make new connections through our informal networking.
- Get an introduction if there’s someone you’d like to meet.
- Find new local customers and suppliers.
If it is your first breakfast or you haven’t attended in a while the Chamber Directors are always on hand to make introductions.
