Jeremy Webb SatNav4BusinessOur Speaker is Jeremy Webb, from SatNav4Business, presenting: Planning without Implementation is merely dreaming!

As a lender, I saw plenty of customers with business plans, which had often been drawn up for them by an advisor, with a view to obtaining some form of borrowing. Hindsight suggests that most of those plans went into a bottom drawer once facilities were drawn, and did not see the light of day until a further plan was required!

You could argue that I am a gamekeeper turned poacher and, as someone who works with clients to help them produce a business plan, my number one rule is that the client makes all the decisions that go into creating the plan. I will show them alternatives but it needs to be their plan and not mine!

We all know that whatever passes for Business as Usual can be hard enough without trying to implement change, but unless you can implement the changes needed to make different or better progress in accordance with your business plan, it becomes no more than a dream sheet!

This session will focus on some common planning targets that a business may choose, and encourages discussion between the attendees on those areas where they have achieved greatest success or perhaps encountered most difficulty.

Jeremy Webb has been a Chamber Director since 2015 and was President in 2019-20. He is a Business Growth Advisor & Mentor, specialising in Finance & Operations. Two passions are Start-Ups & Exit Strategy.

Our Speaker will be Paul Bulloch of Concept Vehicle Leasing.
Paul says: I’m Paul Bulloch, founder and CEO at Concept.I’ve spent almost two decades building a business with a proposition geared around delivering exceptional service to businesses operating a smaller vehicle fleet. That’s typically a fleet of between 1 and 100 vehicles. I started the business from with a blank sheet – no prior industry experience, no ‘bad habits’ and no prior misconceptions of what our service should look like. What I did have was passion, tenacity and a real interest in delivering a new experience within a very competitive industry sector. Now I’m proud to say that we have built a business which can be recognised as an authority in our space. The business has been designed with the very best mix of traditional vehicle leasing / contract hire along with true fleet management consultancy for the smaller fleet.
About Concept Vehicle Leasing
It’s an amazing feeling – if you’ve ever been fortunate enough to take delivery of a brand new car, then you’ll know what we mean – it’s special. Our aim is to create this feeling, every single day. We are a leasing broker who have been operating in the vehicle leasing and management sector for over 12 years. We offer a bespoke approach, backed by exceptional customer service and expert advice. We cater for Corporate Fleet, Small Businesses and Private Individuals. Working with a diverse client base is something we truly love about what we do, taking time to get to know our customers, to listen and understand their needs. Each customer’s requirements can be very different, but we will work with you to ensure the perfect outcome. We believe that business will come and go, but a strong partnership or relationship will stand the test of time.
Subject: Electric Vehicles
  • How will your business make the switch?
  • Are you thinking about transitioning your business fleet to Electric Vehicles?
  • How do you know if an EV is suitable for your business and drivers?
  • What funding is available to support businesses transition?
  • What do businesses need to think about before making the switch?
  • What are the benefits and what are the risk?
